Kienzle is a German watch and clock brand that has been in existence for more than 180 years. The company was founded in 1822 by Johannes Schlenker in the town of Schwenningen in the Black Forest region of Germany. Initially, the company produced various metal products, including tools, cutlery, and small mechanical devices. In 1897, Schlenker's grandson, Jakob Kienzle, took over the company and expanded its operations to include the production of clocks and watches. Under Kienzle's leadership, the company became one of the leading watch manufacturers in Germany, producing a wide range of timepieces, from pocket watches to wristwatches. During World War II, Kienzle's factories were damaged, but the company was able to rebuild and continue its operations in the post-war period. In the 1960s and 1970s, Kienzle focused on producing high-quality quartz watches, which were becoming increasingly popular. In the 1990s, Kienzle underwent a period of restructuring and modernization, with a renewed focus on innovative designs and cutting-edge technology. The company also expanded its product range to include a wide variety of clocks, from classic and traditional styles to contemporary and modern designs.
