Omega Seamaster 600, Ref. 135.011, Cal. 601, Men’s Manual Wind Watch
Sharp, unpolished case geometry distinguishes this Omega Seamaster 600 watch from 1964, reference 135.011. Its 34 mm steel head pairs a silver sunburst dial with original luminous baton hands and an embossed hippocampus caseback. Hand-wound caliber 601 keeps the display simple, while the original signed crown and a dark replacement leather strap complete the watch.
Silver sunburst with preserved luminous details
The crisp silver sunburst dial has applied hour markers, a printed minute track and well-preserved luminous plots at each marker. The original Omega logo and Seamaster 600 script remain in place. Its radial finish changes the light across the dial while the evenly arranged markers maintain a restrained display.
The original baton hour and minute hands retain luminous inserts and are in excellent condition. Central sweep seconds completes the layout. The small amount of furniture on the face lets the finish and the original signatures remain the main visual elements.
Unpolished steel head and hippocampus back
The stainless-steel case retains sharp, unpolished factory geometry. A polished bezel surrounds the dial, contrasting with the brushed mid-case. The slim head measures 34 mm across, and the lugs take an 18 mm strap.
An embossed hippocampus appears on the caseback. The original Omega-signed crown has the correct shape and size and provides smooth winding and time setting. The high-quality dark leather strap is a non-Omega replacement, fitted to the original watch head.
Hand-wound caliber 601
The manual-wind watch uses Swiss Omega caliber 601, with 17 jewels and a nominal beat rate of 19,800 vibrations per hour. It has been fully serviced and regulated and is currently running within vintage tolerances.
The Seamaster 600 reflects the combination of practical mechanical construction and a slim dress format in watches from the 1960s. This example's simple dial, compact steel case and hand-wound movement give that design a clear expression.
The watch is used and in excellent condition, with its original dial, hands, case and signed crown preserved. The replacement strap is separate from that originality claim. It is fully operational and comes with a 12-month warranty. Worldwide shipping is available.
