Omega Seamaster, Ref. 14770, Cal. 562, Men’s Automatic Watch

Sale price€760,00

This Omega Seamaster watch from 1965, reference 14770, has a silver sunburst dial with thin black-accented markers and a framed date. The men's dress watch has a fully polished 34 mm steel case, spanning 40.5 mm from lug to lug with an 18 mm strap attachment. Automatic caliber 562 powers the watch, accompanied by its original signed crown and smooth black leather.

Silver sunburst and slim reflective hands

The dial has a silver sunburst finish that changes its reflections with the viewing angle. Thin applied hour markers have black accents, with a printed minute track around the perimeter and a framed date at 3.

Polished baton hour and minute hands have a slim, reflective profile. A central seconds hand sweeps across the dial, keeping the main display clear.

Fully polished steel and original crown

The stainless steel case has a fully polished finish, elegant contours and straight, sharp lugs. Its 34 mm diameter, 40.5 mm lug-to-lug span and 18 mm lug width describe the head and strap attachment separately. The slim profile suits wear beneath a cuff.

The original Omega-signed crown is positioned at 3 and provides smooth winding and time setting. The black leather strap has a smooth finish and classic tang buckle, maintaining the understated dress appearance.

Twenty-four-jewel automatic Omega 562

The automatic watch uses Swiss Omega caliber 562 with 24 jewels and a nominal beat rate of 19,800 vibrations per hour. It provides the watch's date display and quick-set date function. It has been fully serviced and is currently running strongly.

Omega's Seamaster dress watches from the 1960s paired restrained proportions with practical automatic movements. Reference 14770 carries that combination through its slim steel head, uncluttered sunburst face and useful date aperture. The line's original water-resistant design does not establish current water resistance for this watch.

The watch is used and in excellent vintage condition, with a clean original dial, sharp lugs and intact original signed crown. Its original watch head components are retained with the fitted leather strap. It is fully serviced and fully operational, and comes with a 12-month warranty. Worldwide shipping is available.
