Angelus is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer that has a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. The company was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1891 by two brothers, Albert and Gustav Stolz, who had a passion for creating high-quality timepieces. In the early years, Angelus focused on producing high-precision pocket watches, and quickly gained a reputation for their innovative designs and exceptional craftsmanship. The company continued to grow throughout the first half of the 20th century, and in the 1920s began producing wristwatches as well. In the 1940s, Angelus began developing chronograph movements and became known for their groundbreaking designs.
