Blita, Cal. FHF 69-21, Unisex Manual Wind Vintage Watch, 1970

Only 18 mm wide but 42 mm from lug to lug, this 1970 Blita has a long rectangular silhouette. A raised central panel and vertical brushing give its gold-tone dial depth without conventional numerals. The unisex watch uses the hand-wound FHF 69-21 caliber, with a gold-plated exterior and a new green leather strap.

Raised dial panel and two-hand display

Thin black line details divide the outer dial and provide orientation around the raised rectangular center. Blita is printed on the upper part of the panel, with Swiss Made at the lower edge. Light patina and aging remain visible on the gold-tone surface.

Dark, slim hour and minute hands contrast with the dial. There is no seconds hand, so the brushed panel, line markers and narrow proportions carry the design. The rectangular symmetry gives this vintage dress watch its Art Deco-inspired appearance.

Gold plating, crystal wear and green leather

Straight sides, narrow lugs and a slim raised bezel continue the rectangular geometry. The gold-plated finish shows wear and age marks. The acrylic crystal has surface scratches and visible edge wear, particularly along its lower and side edges; these remain part of the watch’s presentation.

The gold-tone ridged crown at 3 o’clock has a dark cabochon-style end. A new deep green leather strap creates a clear contrast with the gold case and dial. It fits the 14 mm lugs and is adjustable, with the strap treated separately from the original watch-head components.
