Glycine, Ref. 833.311, Cal. ESA 536.121, Men’s, 1976

Brushed upper surfaces and polished rounded sides give this 1976 Glycine, reference 833.311, its cushion-case character. The silver vertically brushed dial has dark-accented markers, matching hands and a framed date display. Inside the 35 mm stainless steel case is the Swiss ESA 536.121 quartz caliber; a new tan leather strap adds a warmer contrast.

Glycine’s logo and name sit below 12, with QUARTZ above 6 and SWISS MADE at the lower edge. Applied baton markers have dark central accents, repeated in the hour and minute hands. A thin central seconds hand and framed date aperture at 3 complete the display. Light age specks remain visible on the otherwise legible silver surface.

Cushion case and original crown

A faceted bezel, brushed top and polished rounded sides give this Swiss vintage watch distinct exterior surfaces. The case measures 39 mm from lug to lug, with an 18 mm strap fit, and shows signs of use consistent with age. The back carries Water - Shock Resistant, Stainless Steel and reference 833.311. These are period markings; no current water-resistance rating is claimed.

The original unsigned silver-tone crown has a fluted edge at 3 o’clock. A new adjustable tan leather strap has cream stitching near the lugs and a dark underside. It is a replacement accessory, while the watch-head components are original.
