The date window at 3 has a bright frame and dark numerals on a light background. The narrow markers and open silver surface preserve the clear formal layout of dress watches, while the calendar keeps the display useful for everyday wear. Small traces of age remain around the dial perimeter.

35 mm steel case and signed details

The polished steel case has long angular lugs, a thin round bezel and a relatively slim profile. Its ridged crown carries the Longines signature. Fine scratches remain on the case and back, with the sharp outlines and polished sides still visible.

The inside back is marked Longines, Swiss Made, 1505 1 and 6952, agreeing with the full reference and caliber. The burgundy lizard-grain leather strap adds a strongly textured color contrast, and the buckle carries a Longines signature.

The Conquest collection was introduced in the mid-1950s as Longines' first named range. This 1969 example follows a later, more restrained direction: thin bezel, elongated lugs and a lightly brushed face. Those proportions are characteristic of late-1960s wristwatches, with the burgundy strap supplying the strongest color in this particular presentation.
