Omega Geneve, Ref. 136.0098, Cal. 613, Men’s Dress Vintage Watch, 1972
A black-outlined date window and black printed signatures distinguish the silver sunburst dial of this Omega Genève watch from 1972, reference 136.0098. Its 35 mm steel head has a finely brushed top, polished lug chamfers and a plain snap-on back. Original stick hands, a proportionate signed crown and an Omega-logo crystal accompany manual-wind caliber 613 and a black replacement leather strap.
Sunburst silver with black printed details
The silver dial has a clean sunburst finish and applied baton hour markers with black inserts. A finely printed minute track surrounds the face. The date window at 3 has a discreet black outline, with the Omega logo and Genève name printed in black.
The original stick hour and minute hands have black centres, continuing the dark contrast of the indices and printing. A slim central seconds hand completes the arrangement. Their narrow shapes preserve the dial's restrained layout and leave the radial finish visible.
Brushed top and plain snap-on back
The stainless-steel case measures 35 mm across and 42 mm from lug to lug. Its finely brushed upper surface contrasts with polished chamfers along the lugs. The plain snap-on caseback keeps the back of the head simple, while the slim lugs continue its streamlined profile.
The original Omega-signed crown is proportionate to the head and allows smooth winding and time setting. The original crystal carries the Omega logo. A black leather strap fits the 18 mm lugs; it is a replacement rather than the original Omega strap.
Caliber 613 from the 600-series family
This manual-wind watch is powered by Swiss Omega caliber 613, with 17 jewels and a nominal frequency of 19,800 vibrations per hour. It belongs to the 600-series family and retains the practical serviceability of that construction. The watch has been fully serviced and is fully operational, currently running smoothly.
Watches from Omega in the Genève line of the late 1960s and 1970s combined clean modernist styling with accessible mechanical construction. Reference 136.0098 expresses that character through its silver-and-black dial, brushed steel head and simple calendar arrangement. The black printing and date outline remain individual visual details of this example.
The watch is used and in excellent working condition, with its original watch head components, original hands, signed crown and logo crystal retained. The fitted black leather strap is a replacement. It comes with a 12-month warranty, and worldwide shipping is available.
