A wide notched steel bezel and olive-green NATO strap give this Omega Genève watch from 1972, reference 166.0119, its tool-watch character. The brushed tonneau head measures 35 mm across and 42 mm from lug to lug, surrounding a matte black dial with bold luminous markings. Automatic caliber 1481 supplies a semi-quickset date, operated through the original signed crown.

Brushed tonneau case and rotating steel bezel

The steel case is brushed across its top and sides, with sharp lines and a 35 mm diameter. Its 42 mm lug-to-lug span gives the head a defined longitudinal shape. A wide notched steel bezel rotates unidirectionally, carrying engraved numerals and minute markings for timing.

The flat acrylic crystal covers the dial. The original Omega-signed crown sits at 3, with a grippy profile for adjustment. The military-style olive-green NATO strap is aftermarket, keeping the fitted strap separate from the watch's original components.

The reference would originally have been fitted with a steel bracelet or leather strap. The current NATO is a different choice, continuing the head's utilitarian appearance.

Matte black dial and luminous hands

The deep matte black dial contrasts with white rectangular indices and oversized luminous plots. A clean minute track runs around the edge. The date at 3 has a framed aperture, showing black numerals on a white disc.

The luminous plots glow strongly after exposure to light. Wide baton hour and minute hands carry luminous inserts, and the central sweep seconds hand has a luminous tip. These markings give the display a clear, quickly readable arrangement.
