Omikron, Cal. FHF 90-4, Men’s Dress Vintage Watch

A bright-red centre shading to burgundy makes the fumé dial of this Omikron dress watch from the 1960s its strongest feature. The men's model uses hand-wound FHF 90-4, with a red-numbered date at 3 and central seconds. Its polished 36 mm chrome-plated cushion case spans 39 mm from lug to lug, fitted with supple black crocodile-pattern leather.

Red fumé and red date numerals

The red dial darkens towards a burgundy edge, with applied baton hour markers and luminous plots across the gradient. A finely printed minute track frames the display. The date aperture at 3 has red numerals, continuing the dial's colour emphasis.

Slim baton hour and minute hands have luminous inserts. A polished, needle-thin central seconds hand sweeps across the dial, leaving the gradient visible between the indications.

Compact polished cushion case

The chrome-plated cushion case combines polished surfaces with slightly curved lugs. Its 36 mm width and 39 mm lug-to-lug span define the compact proportions of the head.

The fluted crown at 3 provides manual winding and time setting. Its size is proportionate to the case. The supple black leather strap has a crocodile pattern and tang buckle, giving the colourful head a restrained attachment.

FHF 90-4 and colourful dress design

The manual-wind watch uses Swiss-made FHF 90-4, a 17-jewel movement with Incabloc shock protection. It supplies hours, minutes, central seconds and the date display. It is fully serviced and fully operational.
