Applied gold-tone Arabic numerals stand out against the glossy black dial of this 1966 Omikron Military Style Ref. 3358. A small-seconds register at 6 o’clock and a printed outer scale give the display its purposeful character. The 35 mm watch uses a UT 6525 hand-wound movement and is fitted with a new black leather strap.

Black Dial with Applied Arabic Numerals

The deep black surface carries sculpted gold-tone numerals around the hours, with minute divisions and five-minute numerals on the outer track. The scripted Omikron signature and 21 RUBIS inscription sit beneath 12, while T SWISS MADE T appears at the lower edge.

Pale hour and minute hands contrast clearly with the dark background and extend toward the applied numerals. At 6 o’clock, the subsidiary seconds register uses simple white divisions and a fine seconds hand. Light age-related character remains visible on the dial without obscuring the display.

Round Case and New Black Leather

The silver-tone case measures 35 mm across and 42 mm lug to lug, with an 18 mm strap connection. A narrow polished bezel leaves the dial prominent, while long sharply tapered lugs extend the round body. Light scratches and normal surface marks remain visible. The exact case material is not confirmed.

A ridged crown at 3 o’clock provides a grip for winding and time setting. Its proportions suit the compact case, and no clearly legible crown signature is visible.

The new black leather strap has a lightly textured surface and an adjustable fit. Its dark color continues the dial’s black background, allowing the warm numerals to remain the main contrast. It is a replacement strap, separate from the original watch components.
