Omikron Ref. 3360, Cal. AS 1130, Men’s Manual Wind Vintage Watch

Warm patina on a matte black Arabic dial gives this Omikron watch from the 1950s, reference 3360, its strongest visual character. The men's watch uses hand-wound AS 1130 in a 35 mm chrome-plated case, with subsidiary seconds at 6. Gold-tone luminous pencil hands, a railroad minute track and a domed acrylic crystal retain its military-inspired civilian design.

Matte black, warm patina and separate seconds

Bold Arabic numerals and a railroad minute track sit on the matte black dial. The aged luminous indications have warm patina, and the small-seconds register at 6 preserves a distinct subsidiary display.

The gold-tone pencil hour and minute hands carry aged luminous filling. A thin small-seconds hand works within the separate register, keeping the main dial clear.

Polished bezel and gently curved lugs

The 35 mm case has chrome plating, a polished bezel and slim, gently curved lugs. Its domed acrylic crystal produces slight distortion at the dial's edge. A snap-on caseback closes the head.

The unsigned crown is proportionate to the case and provides smooth manual winding. A modern black leather replacement strap has beige contrast stitching, continuing the dark dial while adding a lighter border at the edges.

Fifteen-jewel AS 1130

The manual-wind watch uses Swiss AS 1130 Wehrmachtswerk with 15 jewels. Its nominal beat rate is 18,000 vibrations per hour. It has been professionally serviced and is currently keeping accurate time, with smooth winding.

AS 1130 was used in both military and civilian watches. Omikron's mid-century Swiss watches with mechanical movements were popular in Southern Europe and the Middle East; this post-war reference combines the practical field-watch layout with restrained civilian proportions.
