Poljot Arabic Numerals, Cal. 2614.2H, Men’s Manual Wind

Large stylized black Arabic numerals give this 1985 Poljot a graphic identity against its white dial. Triangular hour accents and dark hands reinforce the contrast, with a framed date at 3 o’clock. The 35 mm watch uses Cal. 2614.2H, a hand-wound movement, and is fitted with a new black leather strap.

White Dial with Expressive Arabic Numerals

The full hour track uses large black Arabic numerals with distinctive stylized shapes. Small triangular accents accompany the hours, with fine minute divisions around the perimeter. POLJOT appears beneath 12, while 17 JEWELS and MADE IN USSR occupy the lower half.

A framed date aperture at 3 o’clock adds the calendar display. Dark hour and minute hands stand clearly against the white background, accompanied by a fine central seconds hand extending toward the outer track. The dial remains clean and legible.

Round Case and New Black Leather

The silver-tone case measures 35 mm across and 42 mm lug to lug, with an 18 mm strap connection. Its round body, narrow polished bezel and tapered lugs keep the exterior restrained so that the numeral layout remains prominent.

Light age-related marks and surface wear are visible on the case. Its exact material is not confirmed. The ridged crown at 3 o’clock provides a grip for winding and time setting; no clearly legible crown signature is visible.

The new black leather strap has a lightly textured surface and an adjustable fit. Its 18 mm width follows the lugs and continues the dial’s black-and-white color scheme. It is a replacement strap, separate from the original watch components.

Cal. 2614.2H and Soviet Manufacture

The Poljot 2614.2H manual-wind caliber powers hours, minutes, central seconds and date. The dial states the 17-jewel specification. Power is supplied through regular winding at the crown.

The MADE IN USSR marking identifies the watch’s Soviet manufacture. Its confirmed 1985 date places this example in late-Soviet production, with a practical calendar and a dial design built around typography rather than applied decoration.

The watch is fully serviced and fully operational, with its original watch components retained. It is supplied with a 12-month warranty and no box or papers.
