Poljot, Cal. 2614.2H, Men’s Manual Wind Vintage Watch, 1981

Gold-tone baton markers contrast with the dark gray sunburst dial of this 1981 Poljot. A shaped silver-tone case with broad curved shoulders frames the round dial, which has a date at 3 o’clock. The 36 mm watch uses the hand-wound Cal. 2614.2H and is paired with a new dark brown textured leather strap.

Gray Sunburst Dial with Warm Applied Markers

The dark gray finish changes subtly as light moves across it. Applied gold-tone rectangular batons mark the hours, with slim minute divisions around the outer edge. POLJOT occupies the upper half, 17 JEWELS appears below the center, and MADE IN USSR is visible at the lower edge.

A framed date aperture sits at 3 o’clock. Narrow light-tone hour and minute hands contrast with the dial, while a fine central seconds hand extends toward the minute track. The dial retains visible vintage character and remains clearly legible.

Shaped Case and New Dark Brown Leather

Broad gently curved case shoulders surround a polished circular bezel, giving the watch more visual mass than a simple round case. It measures 36 mm across and 41 mm lug to lug, with an 18 mm strap connection.

Light surface marks and normal age-related wear remain visible on the case and bezel. The exterior is silver-tone; its exact material is not confirmed. A relatively prominent ridged crown at 3 o’clock provides a grip for winding and time setting. No clearly legible crown signature is visible.

The new dark brown leather strap has a textured surface, restrained stitching and an adjustable fit. Its warm tone complements the gold-tone markers against the cooler gray dial. It is a replacement component, distinct from the original watch components.

Hand-Wound Cal. 2614.2H

The Poljot 2614.2H manual-wind movement powers the hour, minute, central seconds and date displays. The dial carries the 17-jewel specification. Regular winding at the crown supplies the movement’s energy.

The MADE IN USSR inscription identifies this example’s Soviet manufacture, while the confirmed 1981 date places it in the early 1980s.

This example retains its original watch components. It is fully serviced and fully operational, and is supplied with a 12-month warranty. No box or papers are included.
