Rado Diastar, Ref. 129.0195.3, Men’s Quartz Watch

Gold horizontal bars and alternating bracelet stripes give the Rado Diastar reference 129.0195.3 its continuous two-tone architecture. This 1991 men's model has a matte black dial with gold batons, Roman accents at 12 and 6, and a framed date at 3. Its steel and gold-plated rectangular case measures 26.5 mm across, with a compact 33 mm overall span.

The deep matte black dial has a square outline with rounded corners. Applied gold batons and slim Roman numerals at 12 and 6 sit within sharply printed minute ticks. RADO appears below 12 and DIASTAR above 6, while a gilt frame picks out the date aperture at 3.

Even ageing remains visible without obscuring the crisp printing. Original gold dauphine hour and minute hands echo the furniture, with the minute hand reaching the track and the shorter hour hand distinguishing the hours. A central seconds hand completes the quartz display.

Visible fasteners and integrated steel

The TV-screen case combines a black mid-case, brushed planes, polished accents and gold horizontal bars secured by visible screws. Its flat crystal remains clean. The integrated construction dispenses with conventional projecting lugs, keeping the head compact and visually joined to the bracelet.
