Rado Quartz, Ref. 111.3106.4, Men’s Dress Vintage Watch
The original ribbed steel bracelet continues the rectangular outline of this Rado Quartz watch from 1984, reference 111.3106.4. A matte champagne-beige dial, applied baton markers and a framed date at 3 give the compact men's model a restrained face. Its stainless steel case measures 28 mm across and 33 mm from lug to lug, with a logo-signed crown completing the original configuration.
Matte champagne and lightly aged dial
The dial's fine, non-reflective finish keeps the applied batons and neatly printed minute track clear against the warm background. RADO and QUARTZ sit beneath 12, with the anchor emblem above 6. The sharply printed date is contained within a narrow frame at 3.
Light, even speckling and uniform ageing remain visible on the dial field. The slender polished baton hour and minute hands mirror the markers, with the minute hand reaching the track and the shorter hour hand remaining easy to distinguish. A central seconds hand completes the three-hand display.
TV-screen geometry and original bracelet
The steel case combines brushed flanks and satin surfaces with polished bevels. Its narrow bezel leaves the dial prominent within the TV-screen outline. A lightly domed, flat-appearing crystal keeps the profile low and remains clear.
The finely knurled crown at 3 carries the Rado logo and gives positive engagement for time setting and quick date correction. Its small size follows the compact lines of the head.
Tightly spaced horizontal ribs give the original integrated stainless steel bracelet its texture. The signed folding clasp closes securely and keeps the watch flat on the wrist. Together, the 28 mm width, short overall span and continuous bracelet make the dress watch discreet beneath a cuff.
Swiss quartz movement and service
The quartz watch uses a Swiss-made movement for hours, minutes, central seconds and the quick-set date. Its oscillator operates at the standard specification of 32,768 Hz, supplying electronic time regulation without a daily winding routine.
Rado watches from the early 1980s joined sharp case geometry to uncluttered dials. The satin and polished steel, compact dimensions and integrated bracelet make those period priorities visible in this example.
The watch is used and carefully preserved, with crisp printing, original hands and markers, and a correctly operating date. It is fully serviced and fully operational. The service included movement inspection, calendar synchronization, gasket checks and a new battery. The signed crown, original bracelet and signed clasp are retained. A 12-month warranty is included, and worldwide shipping is available.
