The framed day-date at 3 uses dark wheels, giving the calendar strong contrast against the white surface. Baton hour and minute hands have black-edged frames and luminous centers, accompanied by a slim central seconds hand.

Polished case and new blue leather

The stainless steel case is fully polished, with soft almond-shaped lugs and a bright bezel. A dark tension/chapter ring borders the dial beneath the slightly domed crystal. The case measures 37 mm in diameter and 42 mm from lug to lug, with a 19 mm fitting.

The recessed crown sits nearly flush with the flank at 4 o’clock. A new high-quality blue leather strap has contrasting stitching near the lugs, introducing color while keeping the white dial clear. The strap is a replacement fitted to the original watch head.

Caliber 7009 supplies central seconds and a quick-set day-date with Magic Lever automatic winding. Its family beat rate is 21,600 vph, or 3 Hz. The family includes 17- and 21-jewel versions; this example’s exact jewel count is not established. The family is non-hacking and typically does not support hand winding.
