Seiko 7006-7120, Cal. 7006, Men’s Dress Vintage Watch, 1973

Sale price€270,00

An original five-row Seiko Jubilee bracelet continues the cushion-case outline of this Seiko 7006-7120 watch from 1973. The silver sunburst dial carries applied baton markers with black inserts, echoed by the chromed handset. Day-date at 3 includes a red Sunday indication. Automatic caliber 7006 powers the 35 mm steel head, with its original partially recessed crown at 4.

Silver sunburst and a red Sunday indication

The silver dial’s sunburst finish changes its reflections with wrist movement. Applied baton hour markers have black central inserts, giving the pale display a defined reading pattern. The day-date window sits at 3, with Sunday shown in red.

Chromed baton hour and minute hands have thin black inserts down their centres, matching the marker treatment. A slender chromed central seconds hand completes the three-hand display. The black detailing gives the silver furniture contrast without adding a different handset colour.

Cushion steel with original five-row links

The stainless steel cushion case has brushed upper surfaces and polished sides. It measures 35 mm across and 41 mm from lug to lug, with an 18 mm fitting. The cushion outline gives the upper steel a broader visual plane than the dial alone.

The original unsigned crown at 4 is partially recessed into the case. Its protected position preserves the side profile, with the unbranded construction retained as part of the original design.

The original Seiko stainless steel Jubilee bracelet has five rows of links and integrated end links. Its attachment follows the case line, retaining the factory continuity between the cushion head and the more articulated bracelet.

Automatic day-date and original components

This automatic watch’s Seiko caliber 7006 supplies mechanical timekeeping, central seconds, day and date. Its model specifications here are 19 jewels and 21,600 beats per hour. The practical calendar sits within this dress watch’s restrained early-1970s design rather than changing its simple display.

The example retains its original factory components, including the bracelet and unsigned crown. It is fully serviced and fully operational, with a 12-month warranty and worldwide shipping available.
