Blue dial, white quarters and a red seconds hand

The vivid blue dial carries white Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9, with a white minute track around the periphery. The gold Seiko logo contrasts with the blue ground. These colour differences give the main markings and signature their own definition.

Bold hour and minute hands contain luminous filling. A red central seconds hand adds a separate moving accent to the time display. Day and date indications add calendar information to the main time reading.

Brushed cushion steel and original integrated bracelet

The stainless steel case measures 38 mm in diameter and 43 mm from lug to lug. A cushion outline and integrated lugs join brushed top surfaces to polished flanks, preserving the model’s continuous head-and-bracelet profile. A screw-down caseback closes the head.

The original unsigned Seiko crown is recessed at 4. Its tucked-in position reduces accidental adjustment and keeps the exterior line unobtrusive.

The original stainless steel bracelet has polished centre links and brushed outer links. A folding clasp secures it, continuing the alternating finishes of the case. This integrated attachment is central to the watch’s original metal configuration.

Automatic 7S26 and late-1990s sports-dress design

This automatic watch uses Seiko caliber 7S26 for timekeeping with day and date. Its model beat rate is 21,600 vibrations per hour. The automatic mechanical construction accompanies the bold dial and metal attachment in the S-Wave’s versatile sports-dress design.

The S-Wave emerged as a late-1990s watch series, combining vivid dial colours with integrated styling. This model’s original water-resistance designation is 100 m; present water resistance is not established.
