Charcoal LCD surround and segmented readings

The charcoal-grey mask gives the LCD panel a distinct frame. Crisp white inscriptions identify Seiko, the model and the functional zones around the display. Hours, minutes, seconds, date and day of the week are presented through segmented digits and indicators.

The display uses large hour and minute digits with smaller supporting seconds and calendar information. There are no traditional hands: the purely digital interface presents the readings directly. The mask, lettering and original panel give this late-1970s watch its electronic visual character.

Rectangular steel case and integrated five-row links

The stainless steel case measures 35 mm across and 40 mm from lug to lug. Its brushed upper surface contrasts with polished sides, while a slightly curved profile shapes its presence on the wrist. The rectangular case flows directly into the integrated attachment.

The Seiko watch’s original stainless steel bracelet has five rows of links with alternating brushed and polished finishes. That arrangement continues the case’s contrast in surface treatment, keeping the head and bracelet visually connected around the wrist.
