Seiko TV Screen 6309-5030

A raised inner dial plate and stepped square case give this Seiko TV Screen watch from 1977, reference 6309-5030, its architectural appearance. Layered silver dial and rectangular geometry

The ice-silver dial has a raised rectangular inner plate with rounded corners and four rivet-like dots. A brushed surrounding chapter carries the printed minute scale and peripheral luminous plots. Applied baton hour markers include a stronger twin marker at 12.

The asymmetric SEIKO AUTOMATIC 17 JEWELS printing complements the dial’s geometric arrangement. Polished baton hour and minute hands have luminous inlays, with a slim central seconds hand reaching toward the minute track. The day-date display is clear and the hands align correctly.

Stepped TV case and full-size bracelet

The square stainless steel case has sharp horizontal brushing across the stepped bezel and mirror-polished vertical planes. A tall boxed crystal rises above the frame, emphasizing the layered dial. Hooded lugs lead directly into the flat-link bracelet.

The case measures 36 mm across and 41 mm from lug to lug, with a 16 mm bracelet fitting. Its broad angular frame gives it a substantial appearance despite the compact measurements. A small fluted push-pull crown at 3 o’clock is unsigned.

The full-size original Seiko stainless steel bracelet has wide, flat links and a signed buckle. Its complete length allows sizing for different wrists; no measured maximum circumference is stated.
