Tag Heuer Professional WD1214 G 20

A blue dial and matching bezel frame the luminous Mercedes-style handset of this Heuer Professional watch from 1993, reference WD1214 G 20. The 39 mm steel case contains quartz ETA 955.112 and is fitted with a new blue rubber strap. The strap is a replacement, while the other watch components are original.

Blue dial, mixed hour markers and Mercedes hands

The deep-blue dial has a matte or lightly textured appearance. Luminous circles, rectangles and a prominent triangle at 12 have white outlines, with a white minute track around the perimeter. The TAG Heuer shield sits below 12, while Professional and the 200 Meters marking appear above 6.

A framed date at 3 has a white background and black numerals. The broad luminous Mercedes-style hour hand is accompanied by a pointed minute hand with a luminous centre, and a slender seconds hand with a luminous circular marker near its tip. Polished-steel outlines provide contrast around the hands.

Blue bezel, crown guards and contrasting steel finishes

The stainless steel case measures 39 mm in diameter and 45 mm from lug to lug. Brushed upper surfaces contrast with polished sides. The unidirectional rotating bezel has a vivid-blue insert, clear white numerals and a luminous pip at 12, retaining the timing layout of this diving watch.

The screw-down crown sits at 3 between subtle guards, and a slightly domed crystal follows the case profile. The dial’s 200 Meters marking records the rated design, without establishing current water resistance.

New blue rubber strap and preserved condition

The fitted blue rubber strap is a new, high-quality replacement and is not an original TAG Heuer component. It matches the dial and bezel tones and meets the lugs without gaps. Its replacement status remains separate from the original watch-head components.

This example is in excellent used condition, with sharp case lines and minimal wear. The dial and bezel are clean, and the luminous elements remain functional.

The Swiss-made ETA 955.112 provides battery-powered timekeeping and the date display in this quartz watch. It does not require regular manual winding. The watch is fully serviced and fully operational, with a 12-month warranty included.
