The silver dial is defined by an applied Roman XII at 12 o’clock, a detail that immediately separates this reference from the simple baton layouts found on many vintage Seiko 5 models. Slim applied rectangular markers continue around the remaining hours, while a fine printed minute track and small luminous plots form a precise outer border. The applied SEIKO name and Seiko 5 emblem occupy the upper half of the dial, with AUTOMATIC printed discreetly above 6 o’clock.

Broad luminous-filled hour and minute hands sit clearly against the pale dial, accompanied by a slim central seconds hand. At 3 o’clock, the large framed day-date aperture adds the practical calendar display central to the Seiko 5 identity.
